Manchester United have suffered two significant injuries to key players following the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in a pre-season friendly. Striker Rasmus Hojlund and new defensive signing Leny Yoro were both substituted in the first half of Saturday night's game in Los Angeles, and both are facing lengthy spells on the sideline with the new Premier League season just weeks away.

Manchester United have been dealt a double injury blow just two games into their preseason tour of the United States, with striker Rasmus Hojlund and new defensive signing Leny Yoro expected to miss around six weeks and three months respectively.
Both players were forced off in the first half of United's 2-1 friendly defeat to Arsenal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Hojlund pulled up with a suspected hamstring injury after just 15 minutes of the game and now faces up to six weeks out. The Danish international will miss his side's opening game of the season against Fulham on August 16 and will be a major doubt for the home fixture against Liverpool on September 1.
New signing Leny Yoro, meanwhile, is facing up to three months out with a foot injury. The 18-year-old central defender signed for the Red Devils in a deal worth up to £59 million last month, but was also subsituted in the first half of the Arsenal friendly.
Yoro chose to stay in the US with the rest of the squad for the remainder of pre season before flying back to the UK to undergo further tests and treatment.
Concern over the Frenchman's injury grew after United delayed diagnosing the extent of the injury after Saturday's match. Yoro was then seen wearing a protective boot and crutches when walking with the rest of the squad on monday.

If the defender does miss three months of action, he will be absent for up to nine Premier League games, including fixtures against Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa, as well as the Community Shield tie against Manchester City at Wembley.
Manchester United's games against Brighton (August 24) and Southampton (September 14) will both be shown live on TNT Sports.

There was another injury concern for United after last night's 3-2 friendly victory over Real Betis in San Diego, with winger Marcus Rashford forced off after taking a hit to his right ankle.
The 26-year-old limped heavily as he left the pitch, while Brazilian winger Antony had to be substitued with an apparent hand injury. Manchester United are monitoring the fitness of both attackers with the new Premier League season just over two weeks away.
