Chelsea star Cole Palmer dismissed "idiots" and "trolls" on social media as he broke his goal drought in a vital victory over champions Liverpool.
Palmer scored his first goal since January with a late penalty in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Liverpool.
Asked for his reaction to the goal after the game, Palmer said: "I just felt normal. Obviously, it happens. I went three months without scoring, but it just gives me more fight and motivation to do more for myself and for the team.
"Social media nowadays is full of idiots, the trolls and whatever. I don't pay any attention to that.
"I've scored today and I'm happy, but it's only one and I've got to keep improving and try and reach new levels."
Enzo Fernandez put Chelsea in front early on, and an own goal from Jarell Quansah saw them 2-0 ahead after half-time.
Virgil van Dijk headed a goal back for Liverpool with five minutes remaining, but Palmer's stoppage-time penalty sealed the deal for the hosts.
It was a first goal for Palmer since he netted in a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in January.

Asked about his lean spell, Palmer added: "Getting chances and not scoring, it feels like you're letting your team down.
"I feel like I am mentally strong anyway. I feel pride in helping the team and if I'm not doing that, I'm not happy.
"Today I felt confident, I was trying things, first-time passes, playing forward. When you have got him [Moises Caicedo] in front of you, it's a dream.
"From the start of the season, he has been our best player, he wins the ball back all the time, he's humble, nice to everyone and everyone loves him."

We've already had big summer, says Slot

Liverpool manager Arne Slot insists it's already been a "big summer" for his team because superstars Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah have signed new deals.
After months of speculation, both Van Dijk and Salah put pen to paper on new two-year deals with the club, keeping them at Anfield until 2027.
And after his Premier League champions lost 3-1 at Stamford Bridge, Slot was asked whether there was a big summer ahead for Liverpool.
"It's already a big summer because we extended Virgil [van Dijk] and Mo [Salah] and for large parts of the season, I don't think everyone expected that. For us to keep them is a big thing.
"I've said already that I am happy with the squad we have. We will see what the summer brings, but sometimes it can be good to bring fresh energy.
"It has already been a good summer and we won the league. Only if we see someone on the market who can improve us."
