Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino watched his side lose 2-0 away to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, and acknowledged his team were not good enough in front of goal. He then said that he would be looking to the January transfer window for the opportunity to improve his squad, which suffered a blow when Reece James left early with an injury.

Mauricio Pochettino admitted that he was “really, really disappointed” with Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Everton.
Chelsea conceded to Abdoulaye Doucoure in the first half, and their hopes for a late equaliser were dashed when Lewis Dobbin added a second in added time.
The result means Everton are now four points clear of the relegation zone after their recent 10-point deduction, with Chelsea in 12th, just six points clear of Sean Dyche’s men on 19.
Pochettino had criticised his players in public over recent weeks as their struggles continued, including a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle where captain Reece James was sent off.
At Goodison Park, the England full-back left early again, though this time because of injury.
Speaking to the BBC after the loss, Pochettino was frank.
"Football is about scoring goals and we were not clinical in front of goal,” he said. “I'm really, really disappointed.
"We didn't get the point we deserved. I think we were better but we didn't get what we wanted.
"This was a game to play and to win. It's a problem we need to check. We need to analyse the reality. We need to talk and to try to improve in the next transfer market."
On James' injury, he added: "He felt something in his hamstring. It's not so nice for him to suffer another injury. He is an important player."
