There's plenty going on in Serie A and Ligue 1 today.

The late corner for Spurs comes to nought, and the game is over. What a cracker that was, chapeau to both sides.

Bissouma does brilliantly to win the ball and lead a spurs break. Kulusevski tees up Richarlison, whose shot deflects a yard wide of the post.

They're pinning Spurs back inside their own area, but with no real targets to cross to this is just a lot of possession with no cutting edge. Can they find a winner to send the Emirates wild here?

Smith Rowe replaces Saka for Arsenal.

After a long spell of Arsenal pressure Spurs get into the opposition half. Richarlison spins and shoots from the D, but it deflects into the air, and into the hands of Raya.

From yet another Arsenal corner, the ball falls to Saka on the edge. He shoots low, through the legs of Sarr, and Vicario turns it behind.

He and Udogie wrestle for a loose ball, and Udogie lands on top of him. A painful one.

A loose ball breaks to him on the edge. He chests down and shoots, but slashes it high and wide. Havertz hasn't really settled into this at all.

The corner from Saka catches a flick at the front post, and flies just past the far post and out. Nketiah, on his heels a bit, might have had a tap in there.

It's nice enough, but a long way from goal and without Maddison it lacks the incision of earlier in the half. At the other end Nelson lets fly from distance, and it deflects behind for a corner.

It's now like the opening ten minutes was, with both teams eyeing each other cautiously. A goal on the next ten minutes and change would be huge, and everyone knows it. This is tense.

Nelson replaces Jesus for Arsenal. Spurs are mixing it up too; Son and Maddison depart and are replaced by Richarlison and Hojbjerg.

NICE FROM ARSENAL

This is their best passage of play since the goal, as they move it around it high speed and find Nketiah on the right of the area. Nketiah's cross is poor though, and Vicario gathers.

Spurs work it forwards, back, and then from there own area to Arsenal's in two passes from Maddison and Kulusevski. Solomon's cross is turned behind for a corner. Before it comes in, Romero is booked for a brouhaha with Jesus.

He's moving ok, which is good to see. We're into the last 20 now, there's surely at least one more goal left in this.

Maddison wins the ball of Jorginho, and goes down in a heap. Spurs go forwards, and Kulusevski finds Son, who shoots into the side-netting from a wide angle.

This is a bit worrying for Maddison, who has stayed down here.

Tempers are fraying here. Nketiah goes in very late on Vicario, studs up but just missing the goalkeeper, and is booked. I think he's lucky there, that was a dangerous tackle and could easily have been a red.

It's midway inside the Arsenal half as Kulusevski is felled. Spurs have their tails pointing north here, and are growing in confidence.
