Jurgen Klopp looks set to pull the curtain down on a glittering nine-year stint as Liverpool manager, which yielded seven major trophies. The two crowning achievements came in the form of Premier League and Champions League glory in 2020 and 2019 respectively, as he brought Liverpool back into the conversation as one of Europe's footballing heavyweights.

The football world was stunned on Friday morning when Jurgen Klopp announced his decision to resign as Liverpool manager at the end of the season.
Klopp has re-established The Reds as one of European football's top clubs after several years floundering in mid-table, leading the club to Champions League and Premier League glory.
In total, the German has won seven major honours during his time at the club and holds the highest win rate of any manager in Liverpool's history (60.7%, 50+ games), according to Opta.
He is also the only Liverpool manager to win each of the Premier League European Cup/Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup during his time on Merseyside.
With his brand of pulsating 'heavy metal' football enthralling the red half of Merseyside for the past nine years, some of the biggest names in the sport have reacted to the news.
Legendary Anfield stalwart Jamie Carragher was one of the first names to respond to the announcement on X, and admits he hoped it would have come several years later.
BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker also highlighted the 'incredible job' Klopp has done at Anfield.
Meanwhile, The Times chief sports writer Henry Winter wonderfully summed up Klopp's lasting impact and legacy at the club.
TNT Sports presenter Lynsey Hipgrave gave her reaction and admits to being "completely shocked" by the news, and is backing the German to end his reign with a big trophy haul at the end of this season.
Warm words came in from Klopp's former club Borussia Dortmund and their head coach Edin Terzic, who was speaking to the media ahead of their Bundesliga fixture against VfL Bochum on Sunday.
Former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen echoed the sentiments of many others and ranks the German alongside the game's all-time greats.
News of Klopp's departure has crossed into rugby with England scrum-half and Liverpool fan Danny Care clearly in disbelief, saying: "That's actually broken my heart."
