Cody Gakpo spoke to BT Sport ahead of the warm-up after arriving with his teammates at the Vitality Stadium.

“As a promoted club, the first aim is to try to stay in the division and I know how hard that can be. In 2018, it went right to the wire and that could happen again this season, although we want to get out of it as soon as we can.

“To be in the bottom three with three games to go doesn’t necessarily mean you’re down, it’s where you are after the final game of the season. We need to keep picking up positive results and gain momentum on the teams around us.”

"They have moved slightly in style. I’m not sure why they struggled so much earlier in the season. They’re on an incredible run now and I think they’re showing what they’re capable of.

"I expect them to secure their place in the top four. I think they will be very, very strong from this point onwards."

Boss Gary O’Neil has made three changes to the team that lost 3-2 insuch heart-breaking circumstances at Arsenal last time out.

Lloyd Kelly, Jefferson Lerma and Jaidon Anthony come in.

Jurgen Klopp doesn't do too much tinkering following the 7-0 rout of Manchester United.

It's just the one alteration to that line-up with Stefan Bajcetic coming into the midfield in place of Jordan Henderson, who is on the bench.
