McTominay blocks Giannoulis, but only really because he's shoved from behind by Rashford. That knocked the wind out of him - McTominay could wrestle crocodiles - but I think he'll be ok.

Norwich have struggled to clear United's set-pieces, but get rid of this one easily enough.

Bruno moves forward with the ball and finds Ronaldo who finds Fred, and his left-footed swish is deflected behind for a corner.

Fred tries a right-footed through-pass, but doesn't put enough on it - his decent touch with it, for the season, came last weekend.

There's a real lack of urgency about United.

Nice from Norwich, Aarons playing off Placheta and collecting the return. Fred gets in his way, but the ball breaks to Placheta and he sways past Maguire like he's a lumbering lummox, then when he should cut across to induce the penalty and red card, he instead gets feart and pokes a shot straight at De Gea.

Dalot strides around Sorensen and crosses; McTominay, who was one of the least dreadful players in the first half, controls and might pick a pass, but instead shoots into the nearest defender.

Two poor teams playing poorly in a poor game.

Ad though Norwich don't clear the corner first time, the ball eventually ends up in Krul's arms.

...which goes shot to Telles, his cross headed clear by Sargent, then Sancho bends a ball in and Maguire, running across his man, bends at the waist to somehow divert a header on target, which Krul tips over.

And as I type that, he breeezes past Aarons on the touchline, cuts into the box, and with admittedly few options, passes straight to the nearest defender. But then he wins a corner down the left...

Marcus Rashford is miles off it at the moment.

Fred gives it away to Sargent, who looks to feed Pukki through the middle, but Maguire eases over to clean up.

The quality of this game has been lower than Leonard Cohen singing at the earth's core.

Better from Norwich, Rupp forcing his way into the box and Fred doing just enough to disrupt from behind without fouling. Rupp then pokes square to Pukki, but Dalot is on-hand to challenge.

McTominay collects a clever pass from Fred and slides Ronaldo in immediately. He should hit it first time, but instead allows it too far across himself, so when he ducks inside, sending Kabak sliding into another dimension. Krul has plenty of time to see the shot coming and punch away. Sancho then collects and jinks to the line, but Bruno can't quite get a foot around the cross.

United are, though, starting to assert themselves, Rashford sending Rupp for a bag of chips down the left of the box before deciding he can't decide what to do next and allowing himself to be dispossessed.

Telles finds Bruno, who drives towards the box, and thinks about shooting before sliding into what he hopes it Sancho's path. But Gianoulis is wise to the ruse, intercepting well.

United move it about and eventually find Fernandes, who looks to lift for Ronaldo at the back post, but gets too much on it and the ball drifts wide.
