HALF-CHANCE FOR NEWCASTLE COMES TO NOTHING
Saint-Maximin gets the ball just outside the box, but once again a Newcastle player cannot get the ball out of his feet and he cannot get a shot away!
The Magpies have really been disappointing in the final third.

GOAL!
Zinchenko puts in a delightful cross for Mahrez at the far post from the left, and the Algerian taps it in to give City a third, but it is called back for offside.
After a quick VAR check, Mahrez is clearly onside judging by the replays, and the goal is given!

GOOD MOVE!
Man City get out of defence well with some sharp, quick passing.
The ball finds its way to Kevin de Bruyne in central midfield, and the Belgian makes a driving run forward, with plenty of City shirts ahead of him.
He lays off Joao Cancelo to his right, but his shot is wide.
It turns out Cancelo and Jesus made a similar run there, and that may have just over-complicated things at the critical moment.
57'
CHANCE!
Sterling makes a good run out on the left before cutting inside and firing a shot aimed towards the bottom corner, but it is tipped away well by Dubravka.
But, the danger is not over as City still have the ball in Newcastle's half.

PLAY STOPPED BRIEFLY
Gabriel Jesus is down after a clash with Jamal Lascelles.
