Foden is through on goal but Pope comes out of his box to deny him.

De Bruyne is replaced by Fernandinho.

Foden is through on goal but Tarkowski is strong and shoulders him, fairly, to the ground.

Rodriguez comes on for Wood for Burnley.

McNeil's free kick is won by Collins and Wood then on the stretch shoots from six yards out, clipping the outside of the crossbar.

Nice turn and shot from Barnes 25 yards from goal but he cannot keep his shot down.

Dias replaces Laporte for City.

Cork is replaced by Gudmundsson for Burnley.

GOAL FOR CITY! De Bruyne slams home with his left foot after it appeared Mahrez had been felled in the penalty area. With the ball rifling unerringly in the penalty area, we may never know if the referee would have given a spot kick.

Mahrez drifts in from the right flank but is dispossessed by a fine challenge from McNeil on the edge of his box.

Cancelo shoots at goal after Sterling dribbles inside and sets him up in the right hand side of the penalty area but his shot is deflected wide.

A great cross from Cancelo from the right flank finds Silva at the back post but his header back into the box is cleared away.

Immediately Barnes has a chance after a mistake from Cancelo but Steffen saves well.

It is Burnley who make the first change though with Barnes coming on for Cornet - expect crosses to come raining in now.

A good spell of play for City ends with a poor cross from Sterling and you wonder if he or Mahrez may be dragged off by Guardiola soon.

Sterling tries to play a low ball to Foden in the centre but Pope dives forward to claim the ball in front of the City man.

Silva slips a ball through to Foden who tries to lob Pope, who was off his line, but he was wise to his England team-mate's ploy.

Silva gets the by-line and pulls back to Mahrez who shoots just over the bar.
