Mane and Diaz counter at pace. It's fed to Jota who blazes a shot into the Kop.

Liverpool are within seconds of a crucial, hard-fought win.

Cresswell has plenty of men in the box but can't deliver. It's worked to the other flank but Johnson's cross drifts behind. Relief all around Anfield.

Still time for West Ham to rescue it.

Milner on for Keita.

Liverpool survive some dangerous deliveries from the right before breaking. Only a great interception from Lanzini denies them an opening for a clincher.

Jota then makes a tactical foul to pick up a caution.

Remember, a win would move Klopp's men to within three points of City having played the same number of games. City face neighbours United tomorrow.

Jota hacks it high into the air from just outside his own penalty area. There are hardly any Liverpool players forward to chase.

You can hear the anxiety growing inside Anfield. The visitors are a major threat when they counter at speed but haven't found the right pass or touch in the box to make it count - yet...
