The sending off of Ward-Prowse was a real turning point in this match. Until then, Chelsea had struggled to create chances in the second half. It's been a different story since then.

Barkley found Azpilicueta at the back post, he then squared the first-time pass for Werner who had the simple task of finishing into the back of the net from close range!

Lukaku is such a brilliant all-round centre forward that Chelsea mustn’t fall into the trap of seeing him as a frontman like Jose Mourinho did at Man Utd. He is so much more than that.

The back three system has worked well for Chelsea with Tuchel in charge, but there is a theory that this shape is restricting Chelsea as an attacking outfit. Might a 4-3-3 work better?

So how will Southampton cope in these final 10 minutes with 10 men? They were looking to score a second goal, but they will now surely settle for just a point.

SENT OFF! Ward-Prowse has been shown a straight red card for a late tackle on Jorginho. The officials took a very good look at that using VAR and Southampton are down to 10 men.

When Jorginho plays well, Chelsea tend to play well. Manchester City did a very good job of keeping the Italian quiet in last weekend’s match. Can Southampton do similar in these final 10 minutes?

Jorginho has had such an excellent 2021. The Italian international helped Chelsea to the Champions League title, then he won Euro 2020 with Italy and now he’s part of a team going for the Premier League.

Djenepo is also on for Tella. Southampton still believe they can win this one!
