We're level! Rather than chip it in for Carroll and Joelinton, Murphy goes low around the side of a terribly positioned wall and shoots to the near post. Patricio can't stop the curling shot squirming in, and it's all square!

Now then; Coady fouls Wislon on the right edge of the area and it's a free kick to Newcastle. Right on cue, on comes Andy Carroll to replace Lascelles.

Newcastle are pushing forwards and trying to utilise Joelinton in the area here, but their crosses are wayward and off the mark so far.

A substitution here as Moutinho replaces Neves for Wolves. Have Newcastle got anything left? They'll be choked to have fallen behind to such a goal, as Darlow really should have saved it.

The breakthrough! Neto whips in another free kick from the left, which Newcastle head clear to the edge of the area. Jiminez is there, all alone, and he cushions the ball before lashing a shot that Darlow can only parry into the corner of his net!

A double change for Newcastle as Joelinton replaces Fraser and Sean Longstaff replaces Saint-Maximin.

Jiminez has a go now seeing his first shot from the edge of the blocked before retrieving the ball and lashing a low shot straight into the hands of Darlow. Seconds later, Jiminez flashes a brilliant low ball across the Newcastle six yard-box but with no takers to finish it.

Another dangerous attack from Wolves as Traore goes by Lewis again. He stands up a lovely cross into the six yard box that Lascelles does well to clear, and Neto's follow up shot is blocked.

A good burst from Traore, who squares up Lewis and beats him to the bylline, but his low cross into the six-yard box is cleared by Fraser.

Into the last 20 minutes we go, can either side break through here? Traore wins a corner for Wolves, who are certainly the more assertive of the two. You sense Newcastle would be more than happy with a point here.

Podence surprisingly departs, as does Saiss. Adama Traore and Marcal enter the fray for Wolves.

Neto draws a foul from Murphy, and Wolves have a useful free kick just outside the Newcastle area on the left. Neto's cross is cleared, and a deflected low drive from Neves is comfortably gathered by Darlow.

Both teams are playing at more beats per minute this half, which is encouraging after that meandering first 45 minutes. Nuno Espirito Santo wants more though, and is preparing a couple of changes.

CHANCE! Patient play from Newcastle takes the sting out of Wolves' resurgence and creates a chance of their own. Murphy finds Wilson with a low cut back into the box. There's no room for Wilson to shoot but he lays it off to Almiron, whose shot is partially blocked and floats up into the hands of Patricio.

That's brilliant work again from Podence, who is the best player on the pitch by a distance here. He twists towards goal and a quick rat-a-tat of passes get him into the Newcastle area. Podence cuts across the box before his low drive is blocked by Fernandez. There's a VAR check for a penalty as it walloped Fernandez's elbow from close range, but there's nothing doing.

Wolves have started this half as well as they did the first. A quick move across the face of the Newcastle area sees Jiminez find Neto, who blazes high and wide from 25 yards out.

CHANCE! Podence gets in space down the left, and carries the ball into the Newcastle area. He picks out Neto, who side-foots his shot from the edge of the area just over the crossbar.

More good stuff from Podence, beating a couple of players on the left flank only to see his cross headed out for a throw-in.
