PENALTY! Richarlison got free on the break and set free Calvert-Lewin whose effort was stopped by Alisson but Alexander-Arnold who was prone on the floor after chasing the Everton striker 60 yards inadvertently tripped him over. The referee is checking the award.

Wijnaldum puts in a dangerous looking cross but Keane flicks the cross away from Robertson on the back post.

Alexander-Arnold has looked as dangerous as anyone today but another low ball across the box fails to find a team-mate.

The ball falls to Firmino 20 yards from goal but he shoots wildly over the bar.

Calvert-Lewin bullies Phillips off the ball but then loses it on the by-line when looking to find Richarlison.

Shaqiri makes a nice little pass to Salah in the area and Pickford came out to smother his effort. A great stop from the England number one, who for the first time in a while is justifying that status.

A dangerous low cross between defence and goalkeeper from Alexander-Arnold but Firmino could not get to the ball quickly enough.

Everton again look dangerous on the break. Just a simple long ball causing Liverpool problems. The ball eventually finds its way to Sigurdsson and he hits the target but it is an easy save for Alisson.

Richarlison breaks the offside trap but doesn't get a shot in. It looked like that might be his last touch but instead Calvert-Lewin comes on for James Rodriguez.

Gomes who has played pretty well comes off for Sigurdsson.

Weak effort from Firmino after Thiago did well to dispossess Gomes 25 yards from goal.

Great challenge from Keane. Robertson squeezed the ball past the centre back through to Mane but Keane stretched his leg out to deny the Senegal striker.
