It's going to be an intriguing battle between Vardy and Bailly this afternoon. Vardy has already got in front of his marker to fashion a half-chance, but Bailly has a point to prove.

Over! Leicester spring an attack in immediate response. The ball is played down the right flank for Justin and his cross is searching for Vardy. He gets in front of his marker Bailly but can't keep his first-time effort down.

What a chance for Rashford! United should be ahead Fernandes floats an inch-perfect cross into the box, Rashford is left all alone. It looks like a simple finish but he heads it over the bar from about six yards out!

Did you know? Manchester United have won each of their last 10 Premier League away games. In top-flight history, only two sides have ever won 11 in a row on the road - Chelsea between April-December 2008 and Manchester City between May-December 2017.

Bailly is going to be play as a centre-back, Solskjaer has told BT Sport. Does that mean Victor Lindelof will go to right-back or will James play as a wing-back?

Pre-match stat: Leicester City have lost more Premier League games (19) and conceded more Premier League goals (60) against Manchester United than they have versus any other side in the competition.

Solskjaer (per the official MUFC website): "Yeah, we’re ready for the game. We’ve picked up points, we’re picking up form in the league. So have they. We have good memories from last year when we played them in the last league game, when we needed a point. We’ll go into the game confident, but always humble and knowing that they have some quality players and a quality structure and tactics."

Leicester have been here before. This time last year, the Foxes were also Liverpool's nearest challengers. But poor form after Christmas meant they fell out of the title race. However, Rodgers believes his side will learn from their experiences of last season. "This Christmas, compared to last Christmas, it's a different feeling," he said. "There's a feeling of maturity and development. The team is growing the longer we are together. That's only a good sign, if you want to be continuously improving."

Eric Bailly comes in to replace the injured Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's one and only change from the side that thrashed Leeds 6-2. Paul Pogba remains on the bench.
11:40
No surprise that Brendan Rodgers names the same Leicester side that defeated Tottenham 2-0 last time out. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That means the in-form Jamie Vardy retains his place in the team, despite suffering a minor groin problem last week. Caglar Soyuncu misses out again with injury but is nearing a return.
