The whistle goes and Chelsea celebrate a much-needed win, only their second in the last seven league games. Mason Mount’s goal is the difference between the sides and ten-man Fulham’s long wait for a league victory continues, despite what was a decent showing from Scott Parker's side.
Fulham throw bodies forward for the free-kick, but Chelsea deal with it and break. Werner is clean through on the inside left, but he can’t find the finish and sends his shot well wide of the far post.
Fulham break at pace through Lookman and Azpilicueta is having none of that, picking up a booking for cynically ending the counter.
Yellow card
C. Azpilicueta
Azpilicueta charges on to a clearance and has a great chance to put this game to bed, but his shot from the edge of the box almost flies out of the stadium it’s so high.
Mount’s shot is blocked and deflects behind for yet another corner. There will be five minutes of added time.
Lookman lunges in with a very similar challenge to Robinson on Azpilicueta, and again the Chelsea man reacts in a manner that wouldn’t be out of place in London’s West End. This time it’s just a booking.
Yellow card
A. Lookman
Fulham are really going for this and the game has opened up. There’s every chance that it’ll lead to Chelsea extending their advantage, but it’s worth a go given the circumstances.
Hats off to Scott Parker, that's an aggressive move for a team with a man down.

This is surely Chelsea's game now, but you have to feel for ten-man Fulham, who have looked far better than their league position would suggest.
GOOOAAALLL!!! Mason Mount scores for Chelsea! A cross into the box is swiped away by Areola, but Mount is left in space on the edge of the box and he keeps his composure to drill a shot home. That’s a big goal for Chelsea.

The double striker experiment didn’t last long for Chelsea, but they have a lot of attacking talent on the pitch now. Can Fulham hold on?

Lookman looks to break and Ziyech takes him out. It's a clear yellow.
Yellow card
H. Ziyech
Fulham have been really good since the break in this backs-to-the-wall effort.
Azpilicueta and Mendy get in a mix-up and the loose ball falls to Lookman, but a terrific block by Thiago Silva saves the pair’s blushes.
Abraham and Pulisic are at full-stretch but can’t quite get on the end of Ziyech’s brilliant cross in from the right. Lampard wheels away in frustration on the touchline; that was a great chance!
Abraham very nearly opens the scoring with his first meaningful touch, heading into the arms of Areola. He was probably just offside too, but Lampard will be very encouraged by that immediate involvement.
Abraham and Giroud on the field at the same time is a departure from Lampard’s preferred shape, but it’s clear that Chelsea are going to keep on humping balls into the Fulham box and having an extra front-man on can only add to their threat in those situations.

Oh my, that’s a bad miss. A lovely Chelsea passing move works it to Giroud in space in the box, but he puts his shot well wide. The flag is up to spare the striker’s blushes, but he didn’t know that he was off at the time.
