It has not gone to plan for Burnley this season, with the Clarets yet to taste victory, while Spurs have been very much hit and miss to date. NO GOAL! Great take down and finish from Barnes, but he, and several of his team-mates are well offside.

Moussa Sissoko lunges in on Westwood, leaves the Burnley skipper on the deck, but escapes a booking.

Spurs have not really got going here as Ben Davies' low cross is deflected behind for a corner. Excellent hold-up play from Kane before setting Davies free.
16'
Nice hold-up play from Wood as he pins Dier before bringing a long ball under control. He has Barnes in support and brings him into play, but he goes for goal instead of playing Taylor into space on the left and shanks his shot woefully wide.

Alderweireld really has come off worse there. The bandage is going on.

Barnes goes up for the header with Alderweireld, catches the Belgian with a flailing arm, but escapes a yellow card.
10'
Ashley Westwood goes direct, floating a straight ball up towards Wood that looks to have found the Burnley striker, but Toby Alderweireld recovers in time to head clear.
8'
Nick Pope does really well to gather a low, fizzing cross at the second attempt. Harry Kane was lurking with intent.
6'
Charlie Taylor looks for Ashley Barnes but he is offside.
4'
Good punch from Hugo Lloris as he beats Chris Wood to the ball. Fine start from the home side.

A very, very early booking for Josh Brownhill after he bundled Tanguy Ndombele to the floor.

So here we go. A win will send Spurs fifth, but three points will mean a great deal more the home side, given the start they have had. We are minutes away!
