BOGEY
Leandro Trossard’s early winner helps Brighton to a deserved 1-0 win over an uninspiring Tottenham at the Amex stadium.
It was tenacious stuff from Brighton but this was not a backs to the wall job. They went for it and tried to double their lead for the full 90.
They go seven points clear of the relegation zone, while Jose Mourinho's, Kane-less Spurs face a tricky few weeks ahead.
90+2'
Lallana blocks a Lamela effort, Bissouma whacks clear.
Two minutes left of stoppage time!
90'
Spurs just have not been at it tonight, and that's mainly because Brighton have kept them quiet.
Brighton have put a real shift in and look everything like a team that deserves to be far higher in the Premier League.
88'
Lamela rifles a free-kick goalward from 30 yards straight down the throat of Sanchez.
Surprised he's gone for goal from there.
86'
WHAT A BLOCK!
Oh my word. What a block this is.
Maupay square for Connolly who has a completely open net and he just casually sweeps in but NO, Alderweireld rakes his body across the six-yard box and denies Brighton a second.
Great defending.
83'
Great tackle from Bissouma to dispossess Moura. Could easily have given away a free-kick there but it was a classy tackle from behind.
Brighton less than ten minutes away from three huge points.
Spurs less than ten minutes away from back-to-back Premier League defeats.
80'
Trossard is off for Connolly. Fresh legs and all that.
Lallana is also on for Maupay.
78'
Spurs just starting to threaten now with a few nervy moments t the back for Brighton.
Are we in for a dramatic last 10 minutes?
76'
WHAT A SAVE!
Spurs’ best chance!
Vinicius gets a shot away on the turn from outside the box and forces a genuinely excellent diving save from the Brighton shotstopper.
He’s had little to do, but that’s great goalkeeping when called upon.
75'
CLOSE!
Solly March whips in a great ball and Maupay glances a header two yards wide. He saw that very late and just couldn't quite get enough power behind it.
Up the other end, Son has a go from distance that Sanchez claims without fuss.
72'
Maupay and Alderweireld havve both picked up bookings in the past few minutes for a few over-zealous tackles.
Lamela is warming up on the sidelines.
69'
MacAllister blasts an effort from 25 yards but a generous deflection off Sissoko carries the ball into Lloris' arms.
Spurs are either admirably calm and patient, or completely apathetic. It's hard to tell.
66'
Mouronho on the touchline now whispering orders with a look of poetic menace on his face.
This is also one of Son's poorer games in a Spurs shirt. He misses Kane and the plethora of assists he provides.
63'
Bale has coasted through this match without making an impact and Mourinho has seen enough.
Off he comes, Moura on.
61'
Brighton attacking in numbers here. They're not sitting back content with their lead - take note Mourinho.
It's four or five up top everytime they're in the final third.
59'
Stat alert.
Today is the first time that Spurs have sent out a starting XI without a single English player.
58'
Potter is a fun manager to watch on the sidelines. Very animated whenever his side get a sniff.
Every point matters and he knows it. Would be a mighty shame if a team capabale of performances like these were relegated.
57'
CLOSE!
Pinball football in the Spurs box before the ball comes out to Gross.
His shot is deflected by White and almost wrongfoots Lloris who makes a smart save down to his left.
55'
Bale sprays a hopeful ball up for Son but Sanchez is there to claim easily.
Vinicius has had his first few touches but Spurs looking very much the same side as in the first half at the moment.
