So, Brighton will move up to 14th with this victory, which is a position much more reflective of their displays this season. Relief all around.

GOAL! Brighton 2-0 Leeds (Danny Welbeck): A lovely goal finally secures the points for the hosts! Leeds make a total mess in their attempts to clear the ball, it drops to Welbeck who takes a beautiful touch to get the ball out his feet before sliding the ball past Meslier. Game over, surely.

Close! Dallas really catches a hold of a volley from the edge of the box and it drifts just agonisingly over the bar. Brighton are living dangerously.
Dunk very confidently chests the ball back into his goalkeeper from an inviting Harrison cross. The Brighton defender has been excellent this afternoon.
With just over 15 minutes to play, Leeds are searching for what would be an unlikely and undeserved equaliser, as Rodrigo sees his shot charged down inside the box.
Leeds have been anything but good this afternoon. They're missing Phillips clearly, but going forward they have really lacked ideas and too often the final ball has been poor.
Another Brighton chance! Oh my, they really don't have their shooting boots on today. Veltman sets Maupay up on a plate but he scuffs the shot wide. Woeful.
No penalty! Burns picks out Veltman with a pinpoint cross, he launches a first time volley that hits a Leeds defender. Has he a case for a handball? He's appealing for it but the referee is unmoved.
From the resulting free-kick, Brighton go long. Burns wins the header, White reacts quickest but can't keep his effort down. A goal against the club where he spent last season on loan would have capped a fine performance.
Rodrigo's first contribution is to take down Webster, who was on the move with a driving run forward from defence.
Leeds sub: Bamford has had a day to forget and is replaced by Rodrigo for the last half an hour.

Struggling to find a way through the home side's defence, Leeds are preparing another change in personnel.
