Brighton were the better team but handed Chelsea a penalty and missed the chances they made. For Chelsea, Timo Werner looked extremely sharp.

Werner nails Webster on the outside, has a look, and from an acute angle goes for goal, his shot beaten away by Ryan at his near post, for a corner that comes to nothing.

For which Kepa comes, missing with a tame punch, Luckily for him, there's no one on the back stick to profit.

Lamptey megs Alonso then wins a corner off Jorginho.

Zouma treads on Maupay a right sair yin. There'll be another break while he clutches himself.

Looking again at the goal, I wonder if Ryan needed to sell himself as he did. He made it really easy for Werner, not just offering but proffering a leg. He could've stood up and made a tricky finish difficult.
