OFF THE BAR! Oh my word, Arsenal nearly nicked it! From a free kick 40 yards out, Saka whipped a cross to the edge of the area and Holding glanced a header at goal, which hit the bar and bounced back into play!

There was a penalty appeal just before Ward-Prowse's cross, where Holding ran into Djenepo in the area as he tried to turn, but it's been reviewed and there's nothing doing. We'll have a minimum of four additional minutes.

Ward-Prowse whips a dangerous cross into the area, which Arsenal just about put behind for a corner just as Ings was lurking.

CLOSE! Redmond gets Cedric one-on-one on the left edge of the area. He cuts past him, but can only whip his shot into the side-netting.

Soares replaces Pepe for Arsenal.

Ings is booked for bringing down Willock.

Bertrand slices the Arsenal defence open with a ball into the left of the area to Djenepo, who overruns it and hits his cross into the side-netting. As it turns out, he was just offside anyhow.

CHANCE! Brilliant play from Djenepo, who ghosts by two Arsenal players to the byline. He then cuts it back to Ward-Prowse, whose shot from 15 yards out is blocked by Holding.

Ings finds room in the inside right channel, and fires a low cross into the six yard box. Adams can't control it though as he tries to spin on the ball and open up the shooting angle, and Leno comes out to take the ball.

Redmond has been lively since he came on. Vestegaard tries to pick him out with a diagonal ball to the back post, but Leno comes out to claim it.

Southampton are knocking hard here, swarming around the Arsenal area, and Djenepo wins a corner.

OFF THE POST! Romeu picks out Redmond with a gorgeous chipped pass over the back of the Arsenal defence. Redmond half-volleys it first time, and his shot rebounds off the corner of post and bar before Arsenal scramble it away.

Another change for Arsenal, as Joe Willock replaces Ceballos. This is a fascinating game now; can Southampton make this advantage count, how open do they dare leave themselves?

Arsenal bring on David Luiz to replace Nketiah and fill out their back line again. That was really poor decision making from Gabriel a few minutes ago, and he's put his team right up against it now.

Two changes for Southampton, as Djenepo and Redmond replace Armstrong and Walcott.

RED CARD! Gabriel is off! Walcott spins Gabriel on the halfway line, and he's past him. Gabriel grapples Walcott and that's enough to bring him down, and referee Paul Tierney has no choice but to produce another yellow.

CHANCE! Saka gets into space between Southampton's midfield and defence, picked out by Gabriel. He takes it on and shoots low to the bottom corner with his right foot, but McCarthy palms it a way for a corner.

Ings has another pop from distance, this time from wide on the left of the area, but it's straight at Leno.

Gabriel is booked for clattering Adams on halfway.
