That's it. An easy win for Manchester City and they look just as good as they did last season, possibly even better for a rest. West Ham, well, it's hard to tell when you come up a team like that.

A brilliant double save from Ederson. Fornals swings a cross from the right. Hernandez hits it goalwards with his thigh, and Ederson slaps it away, it's back to Lanzini,, whose header is creeping in at the near post, and the goalkeeper leaps to his right to palm it out.
City race back as West Ham briefly threaten to attack down the left wing, but Laporte is on hand to intercept a cross from the other flank.
