Spurs, meanwhile, used the three-month break to bring a number of first-team players back into the fold after injury. Harry Kane and Steven Bergwijn returned to the side that drew 1-1 with Manchester United on Friday.

West Ham are fighting relegation, Spurs are holding on to hopes they may still qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Dele Alli and Lucas Moura return to the Spurs XI at the expense of Steven Bergwijn, Erik Lamela. Alli was suspended for being naughty on social media, while a knock kept Moura out of the match against United.
