Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of Brighton and Bournemouth in the Premier League lunch time kick-off. It's that time of the year when managers complain about fixture congestion but for the football supporters we love it, don't we? And what better way to kick off another day than a good old relegation scrap. Both clubs are locked on 20 points, just two ahead of the relegation zone. It's a six-pointer at the Amex.

You can see how much that meant to Jahanbakhsh. He's in tears after netting that goal.

GOAL! Brighton 1-0 Bournemouth (Jahanbakhsh): We have lift-off at the Amex! Brighton have started well and they get their just rewards. Mooy leads a rapid counter-attack, he feeds Maupay who holds the ball up before teeing up Jahanbakhsh and he smashes his first Premier League goal past Ramsdale.

It's a bright start by the hosts. Jahanbakhsh provides the width for Brighton with a position on the right and his whipped cross is cleared behind for the first corner of the game.

Head-to-head: Brighton are without a win in the past 10 league meetings, drawing four and losing six, including a 5-0 defeat in the corresponding fixture last season.

TEN minutes until kick-off! Reward for the winners is 13th place in the Premier League - and more importantly, five points ahead of the drop zone.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe: "Brighton are the type of team that change week to week depending on their opponent. They have played very well at times this season it will be a difficult game. They play a really good brand of football, they build from the back. They have got really good creative attacking players as well."
12:10
Brighton boss Graham Potter: "We have a lot of positive to take again [from the defeat at Spurs]. It's frustrating again but we have to take that frustration into Bournemouth. In terms of being able to select a team and rotate players, it is very difficult."
12:05
This should be a fascinating encounter. Both clubs love to play attacking football while being rather lacklustre at the back. Brighton led for almost an hour at Tottenham on Boxing Day only to concede twice and lose the game, and that has been the story of their season. Plenty of promise in their performances, but more often than not they end up on the wrong side of the result. Bournemouth drew with Arsenal on the same day, but to hold the Gunners isn't all that impressive these days. Eddie Howe's side created chances aplenty but lacked a clinical edge.
12:00
Eddie Howe makes five changes from Bournemouth's 1-1 draw with Arsenal. Diego Rico, Harry Wilson, Philip Billing, Junior Stanislas and Dominic Solanke are all recalled.
11:55
Lewis Dunk returns for Brighton having missed the Boxing Day defeat at Tottenham through illness. He is one of four changes, with Davy Propper, Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay coming into the side and Adam Webster, Schletto, Stephens dropping to the bench while Connolly drops out of the matchday squad.
