Well, it was a grandstand finish at Wembley, but Liverpool were by a long way the better of the two sides. Spurs were poor. This really could have been a mauling and Klopp will be concerned by how many chances his team passed up. But Liverpool have five wins from five and that's all that matters in the end.

Here we go... Spurs have a freekick in the Liverpool half. But the delivery is cleared by the Liverpool defence. They were looking for Kane at the back post, but the away side did well.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Spurs 1 (93 mins - Erik Lamela) Liverpool 2. A nervy finish for Liverpool? They allowed a corner kick to bounce all the way to the back post, where Lamela took it on his chest and fired a low volley into the corner of the net. Spurs have given themselves a chance here! Is it too late?

This result means Liverpool will have five wins from five to start the Premier League season, and this will be the most impressive of those five wins. They have put down a marker.

MANE OFFSIDE! Another chance for the Liverpool winger. Spurs give the ball away deep inside their own half, allowing Sturridge to thread through Mane. He is offside, though.

Milner has been excellent for Liverpool. Van Dijk and Mane have also been great, but Milner is the man who makes this Liverpool team tick. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.

There hasn't been a single yellow card shown in this match so far. It has been quite a clean game. Pochettino said after the Watford game that his side didn't show enough aggression. Same problem here?

LOOPING HEADER! That was a half chance for Kane. The cross was a difficult one for him to generate any sort of power from, but his looping header to the far post is saved by Alisson.

LAMELA WIDE! That was the chance for Spurs to at least mount some sort of late fightback. Lamela drove at the Liverpool defence, but skews his low shot wide of the target.

SALAH... SELFISH! The Egyptian winger probably should have played the pass across to Sturridge. But Salah takes the shot on himself and the block is made, allowing Vorm to gather.

Here comes Wanyama for Spurs as well. Can he make any sort of impact?

Another change for Liverpool and it's Sturridge who comes on for the final 10 minutes.

ANOTHER MANE CHANCE! This really could have been a mauling. This time Keita plays the ball back to Mane, but the Liverpool winger scuffs his shot straight at Vorm. Chance.

This game has lost its way in the last 10 minutes or so. Liverpool are just sitting back and plugging the gaps, passing the ball around the midfield when they need to. Game over?
