Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Huddersfield. Following their hugely impressive victory over Manchester City in Tuesday night's Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino's side turn their attention towards securing a top-four spot and a place in next season's elite European competition. Even without the injured Harry Kane, Spurs are expected to win heavily against a struggling Terriers team that has picked up just 14 points all season.

CHANCE FOR HUDDERSFIELD! The visitors ought to score! Lowe delivers a corner, Stankovic is left unmarked but from six yards out he can't get a clean connection on his shot and it bounces over the bar!
Tottenham hadn't registered a shot on target until the 24th minute but now they lead 2-0 and almost have the game wrapped up!
GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Huddersfield
Moura scores to double Tottenham's advantage! Sissoko leads another attack, sprinting forward through the middle and he lays it off to Moura on the left side of the penalty area with a beautifully-weighted pass. He takes a touch and hammers it past Hamer into the corner of the goal.

GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Huddersfield
Wanyama scores and Spurs have lift-off! Davies passes the ball into the feet of Llorente, the forward gets his body in the way and allows the ball run through to Wanyama. The midfielder coolly rounds Hamer and slots the ball into an empty net.

Llorente doing Llorente things. He receives a chipped pass from Moura, holds the ball up and tries to release Eriksen with a back-heel, but it doesn't quite come off.
Speaking of Eriksen, here he is. The Dane spots the run of Walker-Peters behind the Huddersfield full-back, but his pass doesn't carry enough weight and Durm makes a headed intervention.
Spurs have often had to wait until the second half to score their goals, however. This season at home, they haven't found the net in 14 of their 16 games in the opening period. That is a ridiculous stat.
Tottenham have been full of energy so far, and the full-backs, Davies and Walker-Peters, are being afforded plenty of service down both flanks. The only thing missing is that opening goal.
Tottenham's opening goal can't be too far away. Davies is allowed too much space to deliver a cross, he finds Walker-Peters at the back post, who flicks it across goal for Llorente... but he can't quite make the final touch.
WIDE! Wanyama receives the ball 30 yards out. The Huddersfield players back off, inviting the Spurs midfielder to have a shot at goal. He accepts the invitation, catching a low drive sweetly, but it's always drifting wide of Hamer's right-hand post.
Spurs are in complete control, despite making seven changes to the side that overcame Manchester City in midweek. Moura, Eriksen and Sissoko pulling the strings at the moment.
CLOSE! Spurs work a lovely move, switching the ball from one flank to the other. Vertonghen dances past Hadergjonaj and floats in a dangerous cross, searching for Llorente, and though Hamer gets there first, the Huddersfield goalkeeper almost drops it! The visitors survive.
Sissoko eats up a lot of ground in midfield with a lung-busting run, getting the Spurs fans off their feet, before exchanging passes and receiving it back on the flank. His cross is blocked close to the touchline, though.
BLOCK! Eriksen hasn't scored from a direct free-kick in three years... his wait goes on as he shoots straight at the Huddersfield wall.
FREE-KICK! Moura is straight into the action and looks to be going all the way when he is brought down by Hogg on the edge of the penalty area.
KICK-OFF!
The hosts get us underway!
Here come the players... there is a great atmosphere, as you would expect, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It's Tottenham versus Huddersfield, it's LIVE and it's NEXT!
FIVE MINUTE WARNING
A reminder of the starting line-ups as we approach kick-off...
Tottenham: Lloris, Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Foyth, Davies, Sissoko, Wanyama, Eriksen, Moura, Llorente.
Huddersfield: Hamer, Hadergjonaj, Kongolo, Schlinder, Durm, Bacuna, Stankovic, Hogg, Lowe, Grant, Kachunga.
Tottenham have lost FOUR of their past six league fixtures, a worrying run ended by beating Crystal Palace last time out. It begs the question, has Pochettino made just too many changes today?
