In the end, it was a bit of a struggle for Manchester United, but goals from Pogba and Rashford mean they have seven wins from seven under Solskjaer. That win takes them into the top five, at least until the game between Arsenal and Chelsea later this evening. Brighton did well in the second half.
FULL TIME: Manchester United 2-1 Brighton
And that should be it at Old Trafford. Solskajer will likely have gripes with his team's performance, they have been poor in the second half, but they have surely done enough for three points.
Is there time left for Brighton to create one last opportunity to take something from this match? They have been pretty toothless since scoring, it has to be said. Hughon surely expected more after that.
Four minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.
Solskjaer's short tenure at Man Utd has been defined by fast and furious attacking football, but it almost seems like his players have run out of steam in this second half.
Rashford down! This will be a concern for Manchester United. Rashford, who has been the Man of the Match, but it doesn't look like a serious knock. The forward will be able to continue.
No foul? Duffy has clattered into De Gea as the Manchester United goalkeeper punched away a cross into the box. That was surely a foul? The referee didn't give it, though.
There's Lukaku for United. Can he find the third goal his team needs to secure three points?
On
R. Lukaku
Off
A. Martial
Hughton will be pleased with how his team has played this second half, but he won't be pleased that they haven't created anything since scorin the goal that put them back in the game.
Kayal comes on to replace Gross. That has to be down to fatigue rather than tactics or anything.
Okay, now it looks like Lukaku might be coming on for Man Utd. Solskjaer was ready to make this change 10 minutes ago, but then the Brighton goal complicated things.
Brighton have never won at Old Trafford in their history. It's highly unlikely that this will change today, but they could still claim a point at the Theatre of Dreams. Can they create one last chance?
The Brighton fans are making quite a noise at Old Trafford, while the home supporters are tense. You can't blame them. This game looked over, but now the Seagulls are pressing.
In the end, Solskjaer decided that he did want to throw on Mata, but we're not going to see Lukaku. At least not right now. The Man Utd boss doesn't feel very comfortable, clearly.
Lingard is coming off and he will be replaced by Mata. A like-for-like change.
On
J. Mata
Off
J. Lingard
Solskjaer has changed his mind on the subs he was going to make. Lukaku and Mata were getting ready to come on for Man Utd, but that is no longer the case. United under some pressure.
