Well, that wasn't in the script for Llorente. This was a big opporutnity for the former Athletic Bilbao and Swansea striker to show that he can step into the boots of Kane. Whoops.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Fulham 1 (17 mins - Fernando Llorente OG) Spurs 0. It's an own goal, and would you believe it.... it's Llorente! The man brought in to give Spurs a threat at the other end has scored an own goal! The corner kick struck the Spaniard's shins and ended up in the back of the net. Fulham are ahead!
Own goal
D. Kouemaha
As mentioned in the build up to this match, Fulham need to start picking up points or they are at risk of being cut adrift in the bottom two. Cardiff are starting to get away from them in 18th.
Fulham are starting to crank things up. They haven't shown a great deal of quality in these opening 15 minutes, but their intensity and energy has been enough to cause Spurs problems.
Now Odoi shoots! The corner kick, the one that Babel won, lands at the feet of Odoi, but the ball was bouncing, it was a tough one to take, and he leans back, sending his shot over.
Chance for Babel! The Fulham attacker beats his man, Sanchez, and drives towards the Spurs goal. The angle was tight, but he still gets the shot away and Lloris makes the save at his near post.
You can't miss Babel with his red hair. The former Liverpool winger still feels like he has some unfinished business in the Premier League. He believes he didn't fulfil his potential at Anfield.
Eriksen shot! The Danish playmaker takes aim from the edge of the Fulham box, but he doesn't quite get hold of the shot and the ball flashes wide of the post. Rico wasn't worried.
Here's a statistic for you - Ranieri has NEVER lost a game to Spurs as a Premier League manager. That's 11 games that he has either won or drawn against the North London side.
This has been a good start to the match by Spurs. They are the ones on the front foot early on, but Fulham are doing a good job of repelling the crosses they are slinging into the box.
Good ball! That was a decent cross from Vertonghen on the left side, but there was nobody in the middle to get on the end of it. Llorente actually looked to be on his heels a bit!
A lot has been said and written about Kane and the fact he will be out until March through injury. However, Spurs are also without Son, who is with South Korea at the Asian Cup.
What sort of performance will we see from Spurs this afternoon? Of course, they come into this game on the back of a damaging defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
The match is under way! It's Fulham against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Okay, here we go. About to get started at Craven Cottage. Kick off is just seconds away.
Which way do you see this going? Spurs are the strong favourites, but there are questions against them as well.
