Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the Premier League clash between Southampton and Liverpool. The match sees Virgil van Dijk return to St Mary's for the first time since he made his protracted move to Merseyside in January. Jurgen Klopp's men will be hoping to pick up a win which would see them move back above third-placed Tottenham, while the Saints are just a point above the drop zone and need a victory to maintain their recent good form. Kick off 16.30 GMT.
- R. Firmino(6')

KICK OFF! Liverpool restart the contest.
HT: Southampton 0-2 Liverpool. Firmino's 20th and Salah's 29th of the season at the start and finish of the half has put the visitors in control.
One minute added.
Credit to Firmino for the sublime back heel return pass for Salah to slot home.
That was Salah's 29th of the season and his 22nd in the league.

Højbjerg with a super sliding challenge to block Wijnaldum as he got set to pull the trigger from 20 yards.
Ward Prowse is left unmarked at the far post once more, but he can only guide a weak header at Karius from Bertrand's superb cross.
Southampton will feel disappointed to be behind at this point. Since conceding in the sixth minute they've been on top.
Ward Prowse curves the resulting set piece into the area, but it swings too close to Karius who plucks it out of the air.
Matip booked for getting too tight to Tadic.

Southampton earn their third corner of the match. Liverpool make a real meal of it and are rescued by the sight of the assistant's flag. Matip let it bounce and van Dijk looked hugely concerned as he tried to clear with three Saints players around him.
As it stands, Southampton will remain in the dropzone in 18th spot, once point adrift of safety. Liverpool will return to third place, two points above Spurs and just two behind Man United in second.
A slick Liverpool move sees Firmino find the overlapping run of Robertson. The full back wastes little time drilling a low ball into the six-yard box, but there is no orange shirt in sight to provide what would have been a simple finish.
Mane takes Wijnaldum's forward pass in his stride but can only poke wide from 20 yards under pressure from Cedric.
STAT: Southampton haven't lost in their last three home matches against Liverpool in all competitions.
Karius has made an impressive start to the game for Liverpool this evening.
More danger for Liverpool. Ward Prowse meets Tadic's cross from the left but sees his header well tipped over the top by Karius.
Guido Carrillo meets Ward Prowse's devilish delivery from the right with a firm header, but it's too close to Karius.
