The home side are booed off by a small number of supporters. They have been second best to Palace, who deservedly lead by two goals.

Mahrez has only had 13 touches in the first half. When he is hot, he is really hot. Sadly, too often he produces lacklustre performances like today.

The visiting supporters are in fine voice - and why not? Their side are coasting at the moment.

Mahrez runs into trouble in midfield and Palace surge forward with Benteke leading the charge. He brushes off a couple of defenders before playing a lovely weighted pass to Zaha. He makes no mistake as he slides the ball beyond Schmeichel into the bottom corner.

In comparison, Palace have moved the ball quickly and look incredibly dangerous on the break. Their defence has also been well organised and disciplined.

This is certainly not what we had expected from Leicester. They played some lovely slick and incisive football in their 4-1 win at Southampton on Saturday, but today they have been sloppy in possession and have barely registered a shot on target. They need to up the tempo.

Puel has not won five consecutive league fixtures as a manager since August to September 2008 with Lyon.

Zaha goes on a surging run, dancing around at least three Leicester defenders before toe-poking an effort at goal. It's a comfortable save for Schmeichel, but that was decent work from the Palace wideman.

Pinball in the Palace box! Vardy does well to pull the ball back for Maguire on the penalty spot but it won't quite fall for him. It comes to Iborra who smashes his effort from outside the box straight at his team mate Ndidi!

Benteke rises highest but can only clear behind for a corner.

Gray cleverly wins a free-kick on Leicester's left-flank. Maguire and Morgan are forward to await the delivery and this could be dangerous...

Loftus-Cheek and Cabaye link-up on the left but Leicester stand firm defensively. Palace are on top at the moment.

Again Palace spread the ball wide to Townsend. A couple of step-overs allow him space to deliver a cross but Schmeichel is alert to the danger and claims the ball under pressure from Benteke.

Loftus-Cheek glides into the Leicester box but slips as he tries to curl the ball into the bottom corner and the effort is blocked.

Replays show it would have been extremely harsh on Palace to award a penalty. It clearly wasn't deliberate.

Simpson tries to find Vardy with a through ball but the ball appears to strike Dann's hand! Referee Martin Atkinson is well placed but waves play on.

Benteke almost scores again - at the opposite end! Albrighton curls in a free-kick but the Belgian inadvertently heads towards his own goal, but it drifts inches over the bar.

Palace are finally off the mark with their first away goal of the season as Benteke scores for the first time in 13 Premier League games!

Townsends floats in a lovely cross from the right flank and the Belgian sneaks in between two defenders to glance the ball into the bottom corner.
