Clucas tries to bend a shot from 25 yards into the corner of the Arsenal goal, but it drifts agonisingly wide of the post. Wenger will be mightily relieved his side aren't two down.

Abraham is released in the Arsenal half with only Mertesacker to beat. However, the veteran uses all of his experience to wriggle the ball off the Swansea forward.

Ozil makes a late run to the back post, but Sanchez can't quite pick him out as it rolls out for a goal-kick.

Ten minutes until half time and Arsenal find themselves a goal down, despite their dominance. They have controlled possession but are yet to create a clear-cut opportunity.

Ki spins away from Ramsey in midfield, looks up and tries to slide through Ayew. Nice idea, but it's slightly over-cooked and Cech can clear. Swansea are most definitely dangerous on the break, though.

Abraham is in a deep position to wrestle the ball off Sanchez on the edge of his own penalty area. He feeds Ayew who surges forward as Swansea counter, but the move breaks down.

A long ball is aimed for Bellerin on the channel, but the Spaniard cannot keep it in and it goes out for a goal-kick. That will only add to the anxiety which is palpable at the Emirates at the moment.

Arsenal are forced to work the ball backwards and the Arsenal fans express their displeasure. The pressure is growing on the hosts.

A clever flick from Ozil looks to release Lacazette, but Fabianski is quick off his line to gather the ball.

Arsenal continue to be patient in their build-up play, despite trailing here at the Emirates. They work a nice move into the feet of Kolasniac who fires wide from inside the penalty area.

Cech's decision to rush out will raise more question marks about the form of the Arsenal goalkeeper. He was at fault for a goal at Everton last weekend, too.

Well, well, well. Arsenal have it all to do now. Wenger said in his match day programme notes that there cannot be any more slip-ups, and his team need to find a way back.

Arsenal have been utterly dominant, but find themselves behind! Abraham plays a beautifully weighted pass into the path of Clucas, Cech rushes out and the Swansea full-back simply slides the ball between his legs and into the net.

And now Mawson nips in ahead of Lacazette to intercept Sanchez's cut back into the box. The Swansea defender has been rather effective.

Bellerin smashes a shot at goal which looks to be heading to the top corner, but Mawson makes a crucial block.

Sanches has Xhaka to aim for at the back post, but the Chilean's cross is well read by Mawson who clears his lines.

Clements will be fairly satisfied with his team's performance fifteen minutes in. Swansea have limited their illustrious opponents to only half chances thus far.
