Kouyate has gone down with a knee injury and is receiving treatment. This is the last thing Bilic needs with his long list of absentees. Cresswell is warming up.

Roger East has a strong word with Davies after a crunching tackle on Nordtveit, the youngster appeared to win the ball though.

The Hammers are going for three at the back to handle the threat of Lukaku with Nordtveit marshalling them.

Koeman has kept faith with Holgate and Davies in his line-up. In the build up to the game he said English managers are afraid of giving youngsters a chance: "I see differences in how I like to give young players a chance maybe more than the English managers. They are afraid. I am not afraid to put young players in. I know in English football people say you have to look out for young players, that maybe they say they can play 15 or 20 games, not more."

Maarten Stekelenburg is in the starting XI for Everton for the first time since 19 December when he came off during the Merseyside derby. Meanwhile, Adrian makes his first league start since November.

Ahead of the game, Bilic is hoping to make home advantage count. "We have a few injuries, but we have a good team and we are very positive and this is a good lineup. It's a big game for us against a good team, but we're at home and we're expecting a good game today."

Romelu Lukaku has a sensational record against West Ham, scoring in each of his past nine matches against the Hammers. The striker has found the net 24 times this season and is the Premier League top scorer.

Interesting that both sides have changed their keeper with Randolph dropped for Adrian and Steklenburg in for Robles, which is Everton's only change. West Ham have a long absentee list which includes Carroll, Byram, Noble, Antonio, Ogbonna and Pedro Obiang.

West Ham make four changes to the side that draw 2-2 with Sunderland. Reid, Calleri, Nordtveit and goalkeeper Adrian all start. Argentine Calleri makes his first Premier League start of the season.

The form guide does not make good reading for Slaven Bilic's side: four defeats, one win and one draw from their last six games. Ronakd Koeman's side in contrast have won victories in that time, one draw and one loss.
