Evening all - let's have some Stoke and Swansea. You'll hear plenty of people bitching about this one, as though it's some kind of insult that they be forced to watch a game not including THE GIGANTIC FOUR. But Stoke have some lovely players, Swansea have a new manager, and both need points.

That's three wins on the spin for Stoke, and they go 12th. They look a good side again. Swansea, meanwhile stay second-bottom, and don't look such a good side. They do have players capable of the occasional flash, but it's going to be a hard winter for them.
Anyway, ta for your company - night.

FULL-TIME: STOKE CITY 3-1 SWANSEA CITY.

Excuse me for knowing this, but it's Mark Hughes' birthday tomorrow. I imagine he hates birthdays, and all other days.
93'
Bob Bradley looks pensive.
90+2
Routledge plays Rangel into space down the right, close to the line, and from a good position, he picks out Martins Indi about two yards away.
90'
There shall be four added minutes.

Swansea look a little bedraggled now, and the PA announcement that Bony is man of the match will do little to enliven them. I'd go for Arnautovic, myself.
89'
I think Stoke are going to win.

Jack Cork replaces Ki. I wonder, is the shower worth the money.

Arnautovic is removed to enjoy the acclaim of the crowd; Peter Crouch is on in his stead.

Belatedly, Swansea are pushing the pace, and from the left side of the box, Borja tries a low curler, which Grant takes smartly.
82'
Pieters, who's not had a good game, tries to shepherd the ball behind, and Routledge snaffles possession. So Pieters drags him down and Michael Oliver gives a penalty - delayed, no-look, to ramp up the drama, of course - but his linesman persuades him that the offence started outside the box. I've no clue why that should matter, but it does, and the free-kick comes to nothing.
81'
Swansea look a beaten side. They'll need to hang on until January, I'd say, because Bradley's steel and organisation will only take them so far. I've no idea where their goals are coming from;Llorente needs some help up there.

No hat-trick for Bony - he's replaced by Jonathan "Jon" Walters.
78'
Arnautovic robs Fer on halfway and bursts forward, but Mawson, who's had a testing evening, does well to stay with him and see the danger away.

Stoke step it up again, Bony heading wide from a corner, and then when Stoke try to go forward, Arnautovic slides in to take the ball away form Ki - it's a great challenge. But for reasons known best to himself the ref books him, and he'll miss the next game. Naturally, Mark Hughes sees the funny side.

GOAL! STOKE CITY 3-1 SWANSEA CITY (BONY) This is luscious in so many aspects! Bardsley lifts one over the top for Arnautovic, who comes inside losing Mawson in the process. Still, with Allen's run now behind him, there doesn't look to be much on, but he manages to play the ball behind his standing leg to put Allen in for a shot. Fabianski beats it away at the near post, but it comes back to Allen, who flies into whatever he can fly into, in the event diverting back to Bony in the middle, who bumps the header home. Game over.
72'
Whelan slides in to rob Ki, powering through him thereafter, and there's a short hiatus while he recovers.
70'
Allen wriggles in from the right and pokes to Bony, who tees up Adam again. But this time, he doesn't measure it as well, slicing wide.
69'
I wonder if Stoke might make another change - they don't have the control that Hughes will expect. Problem is, if he goes defensive and concedes, he'll have a problem, and he certainly won't want his team to be more open.
