The final whistle goes and the Old Trafford crowd applauds a convincing win for Manchester United against the defending Premier League Champions. Wayne Rooney was dropped to the bench, United were irresistible in attack at times and Paul Pogba put in his best display in the red shirt. Leicester, in contrast, were hugely disappointing and have already lost as many matches as in the entirety of last season. Thanks very much for joining us for this lunchtime kick-off. Stick around for coverage of the 15:00 games, which include appearances by big-hitters Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
There will be three minutes of added time, but this game is over as a contest. It's been an impressive display by United and will be remembered as the day when Wayne Rooney's position as a regular in the starting line-up came to an end.
The flag is up as Rooney looks to drift in behind the Leicester defence.
Mourinho makes his final change, replacing the excellent Mata with Young.

Zlatan goes for goal, but it's an easy save for Zieler. Any hint of an unlikely comeback has faded away now and the game is drifting towards full-time. The second 45 has been much more balanced, but the story is the incredible first-half display by United that will live long in the memory.

Gray has been a revelation since coming on and swings a delicious delivery across the face of goal, only for his team-mates to sit on their heels and let it drift through without a touch.
Blind's been solid at left-back today and does well to restrict the pacey Gray to a corner.
Lingard makes way, with Carrick coming on to add some stability to the United midfield.

Gray's goal was pretty special, but he almost trumps it with a spectacular, looping effort that appeared destined for the top corner until De Gea stretched out a hand to make a fine save.
Valencia dills a cross towards the back stick, but Ibrahimovic can't react in time to get a toe to it and the ball arrows wide for a goal-kick.
Rashford looks to punish Leicester on the break, but he's felled by Simpson and it's a clear booking for the full-back.

D. Simpson
The United subs are warming up, with Wayne Rooney among them. The hosts have lacked fizz since the break and could probably do with a couple of changes... although if it's 'fizz' they need then maybe Rooney isn't the man for the job.
Ibrahimovic runs the channels and holds the ball up to give his team-mates time to get into the box in support, but the cross is cut out at the near post.
King is picked out in acres of space inside the area, but he doesn't put his laces through it and De Gea makes a comfortable save. The Wales international grimaces - he knows he should have scored there.
The chances continue to flow for United, but Leicester have been better since the break and are refusing to be rolled over. It's making for a very entertaining game.
Zieler denies Ibrahimovic with a finger-tip save to push the striker's shot around the post.
Lingard shoots over the bar from the edge of the box as United break in numbers.
