Sloppy play by Romeu who dawdles on the ball and has his picket picked by Firmino just outside his own penalty box, but fortunately for him Yoshida is on hand to block the Brazilian's shot.

Milner dinks a cross to the back post where a Liverpool player is unable to win the initial header and Forster is able to collect the rebound.

A steady start from both sides, really, and both appear to be playing variations of the 4-3-3 formation as expected.

And here's Claude Puel on Liverpool: "We know this team. We play against great players. They're a great team and they play with intensity and quality.

"We know we can produce a fantastic game and it will be important to have our best level on Sunday."

The Reds' recent record against Southampton is irrelevant, according to their manager. "It’s normal that people always compare different games against the same opponent but that's not really important," said Jurgen Klopp.
"In all of our analysis that we do we don’t watch the games we played against Southampton, we watch the last three games they played. We think about maybe our last performance or this period if you want.
"That's much more important, not how we played in January against Southampton. For us, January was absolutely the wrong moment to play two such decisive games, a semi-final, against Southampton."
