West Ham and his former club Swansea City were both linked with the striker earlier this month, with Bony struggling to hold down a regular place in Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
With Sergio Aguero fit again, Bony has only started one match since the middle of December, scoring in a 4-1 win at home to Sunderland.
But even if his chances are scarce at present, the Ivory Coast striker, who cost City £25m 12 months ago, says he is happy at Etihad Stadium.
“I absolutely do not want to leave Manchester City,” Bony told Eurosport.fr. “I want to stay here. I am in the fifth biggest club in the world. Why should I look elsewhere?
“Of course, nobody is happy sitting on a bench. But I came to City to win trophies, I know I 'm going to play close to 38 games this season.
“The price of my transfer does not put any pressure on me.”
