Manchester United defender Harry Maguire should find a new club, according to Rio Ferdinand. The England international was omitted from Erik ten Hag's side for the victory over Nottingham Forest and was again left out for the match at Wolves on Saturday. He has made only three Premier League starts this season. "If I'm Harry Maguire, I'm looking for a new club right now," said Ferdinand.

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been urged to find a new club by Rio Ferdinand.
Despite an impressive World Cup campaign at the heart of England’s defence, Maguire was omitted from Erik ten Hag’s side for both the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest and Saturday’s match at Wolves, with Luke Shaw starting at centre-back. He also missed the League Cup win over Burnley through illness.
In total, Maguire has started just three league games for United this season, prompting former England defender Ferdinand to tell Maguire to consider his options.
Ferdinand told BT Sport: "If I'm Harry Maguire, I'm looking for a new club right now.
“This new manager [Ten Hag] is showing by his team selection that he is not going to be one of the two, three top centre-backs at this club."
Maguire was linked with a shock move to Chelsea in the summer, with reports suggesting he could have been exchanged for forward Christian Pulisic, although it never materialised.
Competition in United’s defence is going to get even more intense in the days and weeks ahead after the return of Lisandro Martinez who is back in contention after celebrating Argentina’s World Cup win.
"It is good he arrived in Manchester. Is he sober? I think so, I'm sure he is!" Ten Hag laughed when asked about Martinez.
"It is definitely a boost [winning the World Cup], he already is a player who is convinced of himself and has high belief. But also this experience will strengthen him even more and he has to bring it to the squad.
"I think Argentina played to win in contrast to many other nations who played not to lose. Also that mentality he showed several times at Manchester United: be proactive, that's what I like. When it is difficult to stand up and when he can show that even more it can help us even more."
