The final whistle goes and Swansea celebrate a 4-1 win that all-but ends West Ham's hopes of Champions League qualification. It's fair to say that few (myself included) saw that performance coming, but credit where it's due to the Swans. GOOOAAALLL!!! Bafetimbi Gomis makes it 4-1 to Swansea, finishing off a one-two with Ayew on the counter-attack and slotting into the bottom corner. It's an emphatic win for the Swans, who have been far too good on the break for West Ham to cope with today.

Gomis drills a shot across the face of goal which ricochets in off Ayew, but the flag was up for a high boot by the centre-forward.

Naughton draws a strong save out of Randolph as Swansea continue to push forward in search of a fourth goal.

We're into four minutes of stoppage time, but that's not going to be enough for West Ham to keep their top four dream alive.

West Ham fans are beginning to head for the exits as the penultimate game at Upton Park approaches its conclusion.

Credit to Swansea, they have been brilliant today. The counter-attacking approach has been far too much for West Ham, who have failed to protect their back-four against the pace of the visitors.

Gomis and Ki get in each other's way as Swansea counter, but the back-tracking defence combine to almost pick out their own net anyway. A deflected clearance beats Randolph and clips the bar on its way over.

Payet fails to control a lofted pass into the box and a glimpse of a chance for the Frenchman goes begging.

Upton Park is growing increasingly restless. The game has opened right up, with Swansea happy to exploit the acres of space that West Ham are leaving as they push forward.

West Ham are running out of time. They need three goals to keep their top four hopes realistically alive, but it's Swansea who look the likelier to score in the final ten minutes.

Gomis replaces Routledge to give the Swans a focal point and somebody to ease the pressure by holding the ball up.

Reid is booked for a rough challenge on halfway. Tempers are beginning to flare.

Routledge tries a panenka cross and sees his appeals for a handball and penalty waved away.

The Hammers have gone route-one as they search for the comeback. Two goals would rescue a point, but they really need to win this one.

Ki has stood out in a midfield area with plenty of quality today. The South Korean has it all and it's a shame Swansea don't give him this sort of attacking freedom more often.

It's another change for West Ham as Emenike replaces Kouyate.

Payet has been pretty quiet today, but this is the kind of game where West Ham need him to deliver something special.
