Jose Mourinho has been questioned by BT Sport about his decision to pick Pedro over Diego Costa. Here's what he said:

"It's the first time Diego is on the bench, unless he was on the bench for some little injury. I think it's also normal. He's playing every match and things are not going really well for his confidence. Pedro is a good player, a dangerous player and we are going that way."

Tottenham, meanwhile, make one enforced change to the team that swept aside West Ham last time out, with Ryan Mason coming in for the suspended Dele Alli in midfield.
