A strike from some way back in the area appears to have (possibly) deflected off one of the Newcastle players before finding the back of the net - technically it's offside.

Disaster for Newcastle, who looked to have scored a goal but it's been disallowed after a discussion between ref Lee Mason and the linesman.

Newcastle are dominating play here. Sissoko makes another good run down the wing, passes into the box but there's no one to help him. Steve McCLaren looks understandably frustrated.
