Just moments after picking up a booking Cabaye pulls back De Bruyne. He's very lucky indeed to escape a second yellow.

This game is over as a contest now. Both teams are playing for the final whistle and a chance to get out of the snow.

Aguero is given a rest for the final five minutes, with Navas coming on in his place.

That's what makes Sergio Aguero such a terrific player, he's just so composed in the final third.

GOOOAAALLL!!! Aguero is clean through on goal, but unselflishly opts against going for the hat-trick and plays it square to the unmarked David Silva for an easy finish. 4-0.

Yaya Toure goes for goal from a free-kick, but his shot is blocked and the score remains 3-0.

Aguero leaves his marker for dead and bursts down the flank, winning a corner off the covering defender. Palace deal with the set-piece delivery, but no doubt City will be back on the attack again before long.

Palace have thrown in the towel since that third goal. There's little to no sign of them coming back into this game and City are coasting to the three points.

Cabaye lets fly with an absolute screamer from distance. Hart is getting nowhere near it, but it curls fractionally wide. That would have been a peach!

Oh dear, oh dear. Chamakh makes an embarrassing dive in the box and hangs his head as he gets booked. He was about three yards from a defender when he decided to go to ground.

Ominous is the right word. Aguero has been superb today.

GOOOAAALLL!!! City break and they have players lining up to finish the move off. Aguero works it to Silva, who returns to Aguero, who feeds Toure, who tees up De Bruyne, who puts it on a plate for Aguero... and Aguero loses patience and strokes it into the back of the net. 3-0.
