It was a studs-up challenge from Vardy, going through Clasie, and should have been booked at least. There's nothing as nice as having your prejudices confirmed, is there?

There's aggro between Vardy and Fonte. Without having seen any of it, my money is on Vardy being in the wrong.

That was Morgan's first goal of the season.

Clasie's looping pass is palmed away awkwardly by Schmeichel. Leicester attack up the other end with Albrighton coming from deep. He attempts a shot from long range, but it clips off Vardy and goes wide for a goal kick.

Fuchs comes across to concede a throw with the ball coming to Mane. Leicester drop deep and Southampton play the ball back to Fonte.

Leicester now sitting deep and keeping it in defence. They don't need anything else from the match, now.

GOAL! Leicester City 1-0 Southampton - Morgan scores. Fuchs has room for a cross on the left. He picks out Morgan, who waits for Clasie to miss the flight of the ball to head inside of the near post.

Another shot from distance, with Clasie blasting over after shoving Mahrez away.

Fuchs heads away a Southampton corner. It comes back to Fonte, 25 yards out, and he lashes a shot that rises towards the top corner for Schmeichel to tip away.

Southampton have most of the ball at the moment.

Kante loses the ball in midfield and Mane is released down the middle by Pelle who is facing down the keeper. He strikes the ball goalwards after rounding Schmeichel, but Simpson is on hand to block the shot. There are appeals for handball, but they're technically correct, in that it hit his arm, but it wasn't an unreasonable place for his arm to be.

Cedric whips in a cross for Pelle, a couple of yards inside the box, and although his header is firmly struck, it's over the bar.

Fuchs either shoots or passes poorly, with the ball running from about 30 yards out, a few yards away from the near post.

No chances for either side. A boring minute.

Pelle dinks in a cross for Mane but it runs to Davis after it was headed away. It comes to Davis on the right, but his cross from the right is blocked for a corner on the right wing. Nothing from it.

Leicester keep hold of the ball, looking for an opening as Southampton sit deep.

Fuchs launches a pass forward that Van Dijk heads away.

Davis finds Cedric, who stands up Fuchs and plays it back to Davis. Albrighton intercepts his pass to concede a throw nearer to the halfway line than the goal.

Pelle is released down the right and gets to the touchline. He sizes up Davis' pass, and plays it back into him at teh near post. Morgan heads away for a corner on the right. Leicester scramble Bertrand's corner clear, and play it against Fonte for a goal kick.

Vardy comes back from an offside position to collect the ball, and is whistled for his rule-breaking.

Vardy steams down the left, pulls the ball across the box, just ahead of Okazaki, and he's the only man in the box for Leicester. Targett picks it up at the back post.
