Steve Bruce on the Ched Evans case: "It’s divided opinion, of course. When you look at the case in detail, and I think most people haven’t, then certainly Ched has got a case. I’m a believer that if you’ve done your time, that everyone deserves a second chance. We’ve seen players involved with accidents and given a second chance. It must be a frustrating and difficult time for him, like it is for everybody.”

Tony Pulis: "I don’t want to sell him (Saido Berahino) now at all because he has been absolutely first class. The club want to keep him and we've had no offers for Saido. He is scoring goals and has been a pleasure to work with. He has been the last off the training ground every morning, doing extra with Dave Kemp and Paul Jewell. Everyone is available in every shape and form and there's no difference about that. But the important thing is we have to make sure he has a clear mind when he goes on the football pitch.”
