Have to say that Sunderland have barely got out of their own half so far.

Kranjcar swings in a free-kick and Zamora gets his head on it, but it's just off target.

Sunderland relieved to clear their lines as QPR, who have named an experienced XI tonight, put the home side under some early pressure.

Encouraging start by QPR and Kranjcar wins the R's an early corner.

Infact, Sunderland have failed to beat QPR on the last three occasions, with QPR winning the last two. Another victory for QPR tonight would be much needed, and would almost certainly drag them out of the bottom three.

The last time these sides met in the league Sunderland suffered a first defeat of the season as Charlie Austin scored the winner for QPR in a 1-0 win.

Rio Ferdinand, Joey Barton, Bobby Zamora and Karl Henry all start for QPR tonight as interim manager Chris Ramsey takes charge of the team for a second time. Michael Laudrup is the bookies' favourite to be new QPR boss.

QPR striker Charlie Austin misses the game with a bruised foot picked up against Southampton on Saturday. Adel Taarabt drops to the bench after starting Saturday's match.
