The referee is still being booed for that.

Long tries to drive through the defence, between Distin and Baines. He is very obviously fouled with a hefty barge, but the referee gives nothing. A ludicrous decision.

This.

Still nothing happens.

Barry wins a cheap free kick after Pelle is a little rough with him. It means Everton have the chance to hoof it long... I'm joking. It's taken short.
3'
No chances. What a time to be alive.

Pelle concedes a foul against Besic well into Everton's half.

More rubbish from the internet. Five minutes until kick off. Get excited.

Southampton hot chat.

I absolutely love Vines.

70-0 to Everton is my guess.

Van Gaal doesn't want surprises.

Roberto Martinez: "The games we have now in the league are very important for us. It is probably a very important period for us to see what we do in the second half of the season. The European competition has been a success and we will take that over in February but now all the concentration goes into the league. I do feel this period of 12 days will be significant to see what we do in the second half of the season. The group is getting stronger physically, the mentality has gone to another level and the only thing we can be critical about is we haven't got the points we should have in the league. That is something we need to learn. Sometimes it is a good knack to have as a team that you don't have to be perfect to get full points and the top teams do that and I don't think we have done that. We had to be perfect every time to get the three points. That is something we need to work on and understand how to do it, but I have been very excited about the second half of the season because I can see something special building in the dressing room."

Ronald Koeman: "I understand the defeats because that’s always the difference with players. They need confidence and sometimes now you see that. I know my players, how they can play football, and it’s difficult because of maybe freshness, maybe about more changes in the team. Confidence you can show them, you can tell them. The answer is always on the pitch Saturday at 3 o’clock and then you have to show it. There are always ways to lose a game but not how we lost last Tuesday.”
