29'
Traore is so close to bursting through but Clyne is back very quickly to hoist the ball away from him.
28'
Austin gets the ball in a dangerous position at the top of the box but is quickly crowded out by red and white shirts. QPR are forced back and Southampton win the throw-in.
26'
Mane tests Green with a long, low shot that the keeper has to stretch to his left to gather.
25'
Yoshida moves across to left-back and Gardos is positioned centrally.
23'
The medical team are cautiously taking their time getting Targett off the pitch and there is a nice round of applause from both sets of fans as he leaves the pitch.
21'
Gardos, who is not a natural left-back, looks to be Targett's replacement. Given that Phillips is quick and dangerous, this will be an area that QPR might be able to exploit.
19'
Targett is still down and has not really moved. The stretcher is one and this looks worrying for the young Southampton left-back, who is playing because of Bertrand's suspension.
18'
Targett is down after a clash of heads.
17'
QPR again make good use of he ball up until the final third, then give it away easily. Taarabt is not providing much of a link to Austin at the moment, so for all the industry of Fer and Phillips, QPR are lacking end product.
15'
Phillips beats Targett for pace but his cross is easily dealt with by Fonte. The home side will take heart from that opportunity though.

Mane is sycthed down by Barton as he runs towards the top of the QPR box. Ward-Prowse leaves the freekick for Clyne, who leaves it for someone else, and everyone ends up looking silly. Wanyama puts a shot wide after the kick is eventually taken.
12'
Southampton are enjoying plenty of possession but, thus far, have mustered just Elia's chip and Pelle's shot from a long, long way out. QPR through Barton have actually had the better attempts on goal.
10'
A QPR freekick produces another shooting chance for Barton, this time from wide right, which he hits in mid-flight. The ball goes high and it looks like Targett got a touch, but no corner is awarded.
8'
Austin does well to hold the ball up but there's little support and the Saints break at speed. QPR defend it well and Wanyama is forced to foul Taarabt as he tries to break.
6'
Green comes haring out to a ball and Elia's chip just goes wide. After the early chance of a corner, QPR have not had a sniff of the ball.
4'
Pelle fires in a shot from distance which Green gathers comfortably low and to his right.
3'
Clyne gets free on the overlap and his driven cross evades everyone, including Pelle who had steamed into the middle. Saints have settled into their rhythm a little better so far and a pinging it about neatly.
2'
QPR win a corner and Barton fires a shot into the midriff of a Saints defender. The ball is cleared and Elia is tripped. That could have been a booking.
1'
A scarppy start from both sides, with the ball boucning around and a few niggly challenges going in. Austin is fouled by Wanyama.

Southampton will be hugely relieved to see the physical presence of Victor Wanyama back to steady the ship, with Harrison Reed dropping to the bench. For QPR, Adel Taarabt will once again be seeking to rekindle a career that has promised so much and so often failed to deliver.
