FULL TIME! QPR 2-1 NEWCASTLE. A terrible second half capitulation from Newcastle after going in a goal up at half time they've lost 2-1 and deservedly so. Matty Phillips and Leroy Fer with the goals that have kept Newcastle's relegation worries going until the final day.

CHANCE! Newcastle all at sea in defence. Phillips runs onto a cut back from Fer but his shot is wild and high from only 10 yards. Should have done better.

GOAL! QPR 2-1 NEWCASTLE. What a strike! Leroy Fer has scored an absolute humdingger here, his sxith of the season and none as good as that. 30 yards out, the ball just drops for him and he unleashes an unstoppable drive into the top corner.

GOAL! QPR 1-1 NEWCASTLE. And it has been coming! Matt Phillips gets his goal, just reward for their start to the second half. Charlie Austin with a delightful cross finds his team mate on the far post, six yards out, a simple header. Great counter from the home side.

CHANCE! Comical defending from Newcastle as a long ball splits the centre backs Coloccini and Dummett. Charlie Austin is onto it, checks back in the penalty area but looks too much to hit the corner of the net and his shot goes way off target ending in a throw in.

QPR have started the second half better than they ended the first. Not created much aside from that Phillips chance though.

WHAT A MISS! Terrific play from Charlie Austin who stands his cross up to the far post. Matt Phillips is on the end of it but his shot is met by a superb lunge from Ryan Taylor. Should have scored, but excellent last ditch defending.
