Phillips delivers but it is cleared. at the near post. Henry plays it left to Hill who swings it in again. Courtois is out to gather but gets a clip from Austin as he tries to get on the end of it. The ref has a word but there was nothing really in it.

Free kick against Terry on the right as he bundles into Zamora to win a header. He forearms the striker who was looking at him as the ball was in the air. Contentious.

CHANCE! Phillips uses his pace to get to the ball before Azpilicueta. He gets it on his left foot and whips a wonderful ball across which flies past Austin. Zamora is at the far post but it just flashes past him and out for a goal kick. Unlucky.

Nice play from Caulker as he stops Willian who had burst past two players. He lays in Austin who flicks the ball round the corner for Phillips in on goal but the linesman has his flag up.

Chelsea starting the half with a lot of possession but again going nowhere with it.

And the second half gets underway with Chelsea having to improve a hell of a lot or else surrender points to QPR who have had an excellent first half. Can the hosts re-produce the same in the second 45? We shall see...

And that is half time. Excellent half from QPR in stopping Chelsea playing. Chelsea have a lot more to give but have done nothing going forward. A lot to play for second half.

Henry blasts a ball into the channel for Austin to chase. Terry sees it out and that should be half time.

Chelsea come forward with Hazard who dances away from Isla and lays it right to Ivanovic. Half chance as the cross comes in. Drogba misses his volley and then Fabregas at the far post can't keep his header down and it flies over the bar. Head in hands everywhere. Story of Chelsea's half.

CHANCE! QPR just winning all the individual battles at the moment and as a collective doing much better. As the ball drops to Austin about 30 yards out he lets fly and Courtois has to fly to his right to push the ball away from goal. Good save.

Austin gets barged into by Ivanovic and the ref says play on. As Hazard runs at Hill as play goes on the ref then blows his whistle for a foul. Mourinho is furious.

Green smashes it long and there is another scrap for possession after a bit of head tennis. This has not been a half of football to remember.

The most exciting thing to happen this half is Terry getting thrown over by Austin as they crossed each other's paths with the ball in Courtois' hands.

Corner comes in to the near post where Sandro meets it but it flies over the crossbar. They think they should have a corner as Ramires just brushes it but the referee says goal kick.

Long ball forward sees Zamora chase down Terry and force a mistake as Cahill is forced to smash clear for a corner before the striker got on the end of it. Corner is cleared at the near post by Drogba.

Ball drops to Zamora on the edge of the area who tees up Austin but his shot is blocked. Isla tries to lay in Austin off the deflection but Matic is across well to intercept.

Poor game so far. 36 minutes in and neither team has managed a shot on goal.

Ramires tries to get inside Sandro as he runs the left channel but the Brazilian clears well for a corner which Fabregas goes over to take but it is a poor delivery and it is cleared at the near post.

Hazard gets inside Isla and continues his run to a shooting position. He is fouled but Drogba keeps the ball and Chelsea's chance of a shot on goal diminishes. They keep the ball well until an ambitious through ball to Ramires from Ivanovic rolls out of play.
