That's full time. Everton took the lead but crumbled with individual errors, and Newcastle started to believe they could get victory. Having gone 3-1 up, they then managed to hold on against Everton after Kevin Mirallas reduced the lead to 3-2.
Riviere tries to hold up the ball high up the pitch, and tries to slide in Cabella when he could have held on to the ball, and a moment later Cabella could find Riviere but goes for goal himself and has his shot blocked, and THEN Riviere has a shot blocked, and then Perez hits the post with a wild shot from the right.
Perez is hacked by Baines, and Newcastle will have the chance of a free kick in their own half.
Newcastle break forward and keep possession outside the box, until Tiote's shot from distance is blocked. There's three more minutes of added time to come, and Alnwick claims a cross from the right.
Cabella replaces Gouffran.
Barkley floats in a ball to the back post, and it drifts out of play.
Mirallas curls his effort a couple of yards wide. On the replay it looks far less dangerous.
Colback trips Barkley on the left of the area, 35 yards out.
GOAL! Newcastle 3-2 Everton. Mirallas scores. A brilliant early through ball finds Mirallas through on goal, and he lifts an excellent finish over the 'keeper.
Alan Pardew will be even more pleased with himself tonight.
Barry wins a corner on the right wing for Everton. Garbutt swings the ball in, but despite the whip it evades everyone. Alnwick misjudged it.
It's true, Everton have been rubbish.
A stat.
Alcaraz intercepts Sissoko's rolled ball into the box.
Riviere replaces Cisse.
Lukaku is on for Kone.
The referee plays and advantage after Alcaraz brings down Sissoko as he breaks. The ball is worked to Cisse, who smashes a shot straight at Joel, who palms it away, and Alcaraz is booked.
GOAL! Newcastle 3-1 Everton. Colback scores. Barkley deflects a Janmaat pass into the path of Colback after poor control, and he tucks his shot past Robles.
Kone gets to another near-post cross, this time from Baines, but it's yards wide.
This is quite the put down.
