GOAL!! Aguero adds another. Aston Villa 0-2 Man City. City look to be running down the clock, but a pinpoint Milner pass allows for Aguero to have an effort on goal. The Argentine striker takes the ball away from Senderos with his first touch before finishing with aplomb.

The Villa players are being made to chase the ball now. City are winding down the clock and are doing so very well. Blow the whistle now, ref!

So, after defending so valiantly, Villa are undone at the death. There's still time to grab a late equaliser, but City are very much in control now.

GOAL!!! Toure breaks the deadlock. Villa 0-1 Man City. The Ivorian gathers the ball 25 yards from goal, and is allowed to stroll towards the Villa goal. Under no pressure, Toure shifts the ball to his left foot before finding the bottom corner with a pinpoint finish. Poor defending from Villa, but take nothing away from Toure - the finish was excellent.

Silva once again pivotal in another City attack. Although the Villa penalty area is packed, the Spaniard is in acres of space, but his shot is blocked. It rolls into the path of Lampard who fires straight at Guzan.

Villa having to defend well and in numbers as we approach the final ten minutes of the match. City have scored more goals in the latter stages of games than any other team in the league this season.

The hosts look to build a rare attack, having been under pressure for large periods of the second half. Cleverley cross for Benteke, but Milner is back to head into his keeper's arms.

Nervy times for the Villa fans!

Senderos gets himself in a spot of bother after a heavy touch, almost allowing Milner to nick the ball away from him on the edge of the penalty area. The defender recovers and makes the clearance, but suffers a heavy challenge from Milner.

GUZAN SAVES!! Milner's corner from the left is whipped onto the edge of the six-yard box where the towering Mangala is waiting. The French defender powers a header on goal, but it's straight at the Villa keeper.

Villa can't get anywhere near Silva. They haven't been able to all day, and the midfield maestro is running the show. Villa look to be cracking under pressue as City go closer and closer.

Grealish and Bacuna replace N'Zogbia and Richardson. Young Irish midfielder Grealish, who has been attracting much attention of late, made his debut for Villa against City in the fixture last season.

SILVA POKES WIDE! The tireless Milner again gets down the right, beating Cissokho to cross. Silva arrives late and tries to divert the ball into the far corner. A great effort, but it flashes wide.

Delph has been exceptional in the Villa midfield so far today. Many questioned the former Leeds man's inclusion in the England squad, but on this performance it's easy to see why he's been called up.

Villa can't get out of their 18-yard box at present. City are gathering every second ball, and though Villa are defending well, they'll struggle to cope with another 20 minutes of this.

Milner now has the chance to cross, and does so very well, but with Dzeko off the pitch, Man City have lost their aerial presence in the penalty area. Aguero is lurking outside, and Lampard can't quite get there in time. Guzan claims.

Wonderful recovery from Delph, who initially loses out to former teammate Milner, but busts a gut to produce a tremendous sliding challenge on the egde of his box, hooking the ball away.
