David Beckham has praised Anthony Martial’s start to life at Manchester United, declaring the 19-year-old was living up to his price tag.

Martial’s arrival at Old Trafford was met with scepticism after United shelled out £36 million, with the deal potentially rising to £58m.
But he marked his debut with a fine solo goal against Liverpool before following it up with a brace against Southampton last weekend to suggest he was up to the challenge.
"It is a great start for him," Beckham told Sky Sports.
"He is 19 years old and the price-tag that he came into Manchester United with, he is living up to it at the moment.

"I hope he continues his form as I'm a Manchester United fan so I want to see him score more goals and become more successful.
"These are the type of players United are all about as one of the biggest clubs in the world."
United are just two points off the pace in the Premier League after six games, with neighbours Manchester City occupying the league summit.
